Fourteen out of sixteen communities in the Eshkol Region on the border of the Gazan strip successfully fought off the terror attacks for many hours before the army arrived. Although approximately 48 First Responders fell on Oct. 7th, they heroically saved thousands of their families and neighbors' lives.
